I love Atlanta. It’s a fast-growing city that’s exciting and offers plenty to do.
It’s home to the Braves, Falcons, CNN, Coca Cola, several museums, Piedmont Park, some amazing architecture, world-class hotels and restaurants and so much more.
With many neighborhoods, there are many options for young families and soon-to-be-families to find the perfect starter home in Atlanta.
Welcome to our gallery featuring 10 fantastic starter homes in Atlanta, Georgia.
What’s a starter home?
The ideal starter home will vary tremendously, depending on size of family, family income, family interests and much more. However, generally speaking, a starter home is a lower-cost home with 3 plus bedrooms to accommodate growing families. In many cases, families also put a great deal of importance on the school catchment and neighborhood in which they choose their first home for a growing family.
How did we come up with this list?
I spend an inordinate amount of time looking for homes. My wife and I have a 4 year old and 1 year old. We’re always checking out homes. Therefore, this is a list of starter homes I’d be very interested in checking out for our family. There are so many starter homes in Atlanta so we sought to put together a short, curated list of 10 of our favorites.
Our aim with our gallery of 10 top Atlanta starter homes is to showcase homes that look great, are big enough for a growing family and are priced so that most middle class families can afford them.
